Breathing counts. If you’re not also multitasking, texting, talking on the phone…pretty much anything except breathing.
Actually, there’s a great breathing technique that involves fingers and nose, where you close your left nostril, breathe in through the right, close the right nostril, breathe out through the left, and so on. Very calming. I’m assuming that is the fingers and nose breathing you were referring too, haw haw.
Hahaha! 😀 This one’s my favorite so far!
Haw.
How’s the meditation going?
Um. *looks around* Not? Is “not” an acceptable answer?
I’m breathing. Does that count? It’s special breathing involving fingers and nose. (Don’t be gross.)

Yes, it is! The alternate nostril breathing. I wrote a post about it like a year ago. It really works. It’s grounding and calming.
So true! Helps to clear my mind so I can sleep, too.
You are the present, a wonderful gift. Maybe that’s it?
That’s it! Yeehaw, I knew one of you would figure it out.
It must be a head-scratching moment.
Indeed. But I resisted the urge to scratch, determined to sit in stillness.
I think it means you have permission to just ‘be’ and focus on you.:)
I like that! Good advice.
