So, what’s going on behind the writer’s curtain this week?
Hmm.
Looks like the chair is empty.
But wait! Over there! Behind that other writer’s curtain. Quick, pull it aside. There I am! Cranking out a guest post for a fellow writer’s blog, as part of her Monday Inspiration series. I invite you to mosey on over to Confessions of a Broccoli Addict and read Great Writers Make You Forget, as well as other inspiring posts. Feel free to comment. Or tweet. Or “like.” And feel free to do so here, too.
I so love reading your words of encouragement and wisdom.
A wonderful post! I am so delighted to find your blog. Thank you for sharing your writing.
Thank YOU, Gulara, for visiting. And commenting. And hopefully hanging around. Happy to meet new book-lovers.
I’m sure you must be right about great writing carrying the reader far beyond the craft of writing and deep into the story itself. I hope the library police don’t catch up with you, by the way.
I know. I’m really racking up the overdue fines.
Beautiful story. Reading like a writer sound like picking apart a movie. You just want to relax and be lost in the story but that can only happen when it’s done well. Glad to hear you still enjoyed your favorite book!!!
And congrats on being someone’s guest blogger! Cool!!
How about that!
I like to forget who I’m reading, and just dive in. I do get pulled up by spelling errors and the like, which are so irksome. Really good writing pulls you right down under the waves.
Ah yes, the spelling errors. A few can pull me from the story temporarily. More, and I’m wondering who edited the piece. Ha!
